On Tuesday, April 1, former Starr’s Mill High School standout Thad Ector’s current college team, the Charlotte 49ers, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Liberty Flames.

The game took place at Hayes Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Flames this season.

The 49ers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Wichita State Shockers.
