On Tuesday, April 1, former McIntosh High School standout John Peters’ current college team, the Young Harris Mountain Lions, lost 7-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.
The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their first matchup against the Pioneers this season.
The Mountain Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 2 p.m. at King Baseball Field against King Tornado.
The Atlanta Falcons have added four players following their rookie minicamp: Brandon Walton, Layden Robinson, Ross Blacklock, and Daveren Rayner. The move follows a weekend of tryouts involving both veterans and rookies competing for roster spots.
