Activities Towards Greener Earth

Act

Did you know that in 2020, electronic waste grew by 38%, but only 15% was recycled?  When e-waste ends up in landfills, it can leach poisonous chemicals into the soil and water table and cause harm to human health and the environment. This year, for ELeducation 's #BetterWorldDay, Amana students are hosting an e-waste drive in partnership with Green Wave Electronics next week, May 2-6.  Gather up all your old electronics, accessories, batteries, cellphones and keyboards and bring them to Amana to be ethically and securely recycled.  Help us build a better world!
