A successful day 2 at Space Camp for our sixth grade astronauts! Today they launched their rockets, experienced the MAT (multi-axis-trainer), completed a shuttle mission to deliver payload to the International Space Station and complete repairs, and competed in team space trivia. After their mission was complete they reflected on what went well, and what opportunities for growth they encountered. It was great to hear them talk about helping each other persevere through challenges, and feeling accomplished that they worked together to successfully complete the mission. We definitely saw our High Five Habits on display today! Georgia DOE STEM/ STEAM Georgia Charter Schools Association ELeducation Fulton County Schools
